Pete brings 35 years of industry experience, including 28 years with Swanson & Youngdale. He began his career with ICI Paints, supplying products to S&Y for seven years before joining the company in a warehouse role, where he later took on leadership responsibilities. He then transitioned into estimating and project management before moving into his current role in commercial sales, bringing a well-rounded perspective across all phases of the business.

Pete has extensive experience across the full lifecycle of commercial painting, from supply and operations to project management and sales leadership. He has worked on a wide range of project types, including hospitality, healthcare, office, and tenant improvement.

Pete is accountable for the success of client relationships and ensuring alignment between what is promised and how projects are delivered. He works to set clear expectations early and stays engaged throughout the process to support consistent outcomes.

Pete emphasizes continuous improvement and invests in developing others by sharing his experience and encouraging new ideas. He supports Swanson & Youngdale’s Gold Standard by reinforcing expectations around quality and execution and staying involved to ensure those standards are met.
